Sillat Talentuo – En

Socio-professional integration project
Talentuo addresses a dual challenge: the need of exiled students to find an internship or work-study program necessary to enhance or validate their academic studies, and the need to inform and raise awareness among companies about hiring exiled individuals.
Our project connects students with companies aligned with their field of study while targeting career opportunities upon graduation. Our project also aims to change companies’ perceptions of exiled individuals and thus encourage them to implement more inclusive work practices tailored to this population.

Talentuo is based on four pillars:
- Partnership: A partnership between Sillat and companies that guarantees a defined number of internship/work-study positions for exiled students. To bring the two groups together, Sillat will act as a liaison and mediator.
- Support: Through enhanced internship/work-study support and a mentor, we aim to achieve a dual positive impact: the student builds a network, and the company becomes aware of the situation of exiled people and their professional strengths.
- Awareness: Sillat will provide training to human resources employees. This will enable companies to offer a tailored experience to exiled students.
- Professional and personal development: To address job search issues, Sillat organizes methodology workshops and coaching sessions with speakers from companies and associations that will benefit all Sillat students.
